Job Summary and Opportunity

Axos Bank is seeking a UX Designer II to transform the way we interact with our customers.  As our UX Designer II, you will be key in supporting the needs of various business units to deliver assets that drive engagement and significantly improve customer experience in innovative ways.  This position is on-site and will be located at our HQ in San Diego, CA. 

Responsibilities

  • Address opportunities related to customer engagement within the consumer banking space
  • Help design and development both UI and UX for the next chapter in on-line banking and digital financial tools and products
  • Execute using the UX design process
  • Collaborate with product management, software development, visual design, and branding
  • Create branded experiences for our mobile and web application
  • Contribute and promote the use of our design system
  • Preform UX research sessions and methods
  • Wire-framing, prototyping, final production ready asset creation
  • UX story telling

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years' UX/UI design for web & mobile
  • Experience of user-centered research
  • Web and mobile design experience

  • Adobe Creative, Figma, MAC and PC knowledge

  • Excellent organizational and communication skill

  • Ability to partner with various cross-functional teams for direction and consistency

  • Strong commitment to meeting high expectations of end users
