Job Summary and Opportunity

Seeking an eager, self-motivated candidate to fill the Banking Operations role in our Fiduciary Services division. The candidate would join the Fiduciary Operations team dedicated to fulfilling the directives and initiatives proposed by Axos Bank’s Chief Operating Officer.

 

The candidate should be extremely well rounded and have a strong aptitude for numbers. The candidate should have good verbal communication skills, as well and common-sense best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and controls the operating framework for the department, provides guidance and support, ensures implementation and review of work processes in order to achieve high performance standards and continuous improvement
  • Conducts proactive business development activities from new & existing clients, through strategic penetration into identified market/sectors across the entire portfolio spectrum
  • Monitors and enables the achievement of goals and key performance indicators for direct reports and ensures effective implementation of the performance management process in the section
  • Develops talent within the team by providing guidance, ongoing feedback, coaching and development opportunities to individuals to enable achievement of the defined goals
  • Implements the risk policies and processes (operational, regulatory, financial, informational, reputational and audit risks), ensuring that that these meet regulatory and internal requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
  • 2+ years in Banking or Bankruptcy industry
  • Banking
  • Accounting
  • Strong aptitude for numbers

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in a finance-related field
