The Opportunity

Axos Clearing delivers flexible solutions backed by innovative technology and our Sales Directors are tip of the spear. We have an opening on our business development team and are seeking exceptional talent with a strong focus in Correspondent Clearing Sales. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, solution-based salesperson, who can position themselves in front of decision-makers to deliver well beyond the prescribed quota. To be successful you’ll need a firm understanding of the operational requirements of various business lines including Retail, Institutional, Foreign, and Active Trading Broker Dealers. You also must be willing and able to learn new business lines as we continue to add new products.  

The Role

  • Primary responsibilities will be to support the Sales team in all capacities  
  • Generate new business by calling on prospects to provide leads to Sales Directors
  • Build and manage pipeline of prospects using and other systems
  • Responsible for growth and management in a subset of assigned Broker Dealers
  • Develop executive level relationships with Broker Dealer Client Base 
  • Engage with new business and conversions team to transition new client during conversion process
  • Utilize to manage and track resolutions of the day-to-day issues
  • Collaborate with operational units to enhance and maintain service quality across the client base
  • Provide input to senior management, sales group and account executives
  • Monitor correspondent and Axos Clearing performance trends
  • Participate in special projects and perform any other duties as directed

Are You A Fit?

  • Successful completion of the General Securities Exam Series 7
  • 1+ year's financial services experience; CS, RM, preferably Sales, with a working knowledge of the securities industry, its products, operations and sales functions
  • Understanding of back office systems (BETA) and other relevant software – Front End Trading Platforms, Middleware, Risk and Compliance tools
  • Able to travel to conferences and on site meetings
  • BA/BS
