    The Non-Real Estate Junior Funding Officer will review vehicle loan applications and documentation submitted from an approved auto dealership or a direct consumer application.  This includes the ability to analyze submitted funding packet applications, sales contracts, 3rd party verification and fraud shield reports, including income and employment validation.  This role is responsible for mitigating the potential for fraud and to ascertain loan-level consumer parameters and deal structure compliance with auto lending policies, guidelines and job aids to make an appropriate credit decision prior to funding a loan.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Approval or re-approval, within delegated approval authority limits, of initial applications for restructured prior approved auto loans using guidelines and clearly defined notes satisfactorily documenting tasks performed in a timely manner
    • Exercise judgement based on experience and training to make a recommendation to a senior credit officer and/or management on the credit risk parameters supporting your recommended credit decision in a timely manner
    • Ensure loan quality and an efficient and smooth application approval through funding process within specified time standards

    Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements:

    • Organizational skills, including multi-tasking skills, to meet required task time requirements
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work well within a team in a production environment with expected service level standards

    Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements:

    • 6+ months in financial services or other comparable analytical work history
    • Post high school education or enhanced industry experience


    • College degree
    • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
