    The VP, Marketing Automation will be responsible for the execution of complex, omnichannel marketing automation efforts across the bank.  The ideal candidate will have experience leading digital initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.  They will also have a proven track record of demonstrating exceptional results in digital marketing programs.

     

    • Provide day-to-day ownership of Salesforce Marketing Automation solutions across the enterprise, including Journey Builder, Ad Studio, Mobile Studio, Social Studio, Email Studio, etc. 
    • Execute on assigned Marketing Automation solutions, partnering closely on strategy and content with the Marketing team and related Business Unit
    • Develop, maintain and deliver on the strategic vision and roadmap for the evolution of Salesforce Marketing Automation solutions within Axos (near term and 5 year views)
    • Foster consultative and collaborative relationships with Business Unit leaders to provide proactive identification of opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness
    • Review individual Business Unit marketing initiatives and align with the enterprise strategic direction
    • Continually expand personal and enterprise knowledge of the Salesforce marketing suite of systems; research innovations for review and/or adoption by the Bank
    • Understand the Bank's diverse business units and strategic initiatives; ensure capacity is anticipated and enterprise perspective is considered
    • Develop and maintain current configuration and maintenance documentation for all marketing automation
    • Build and maintain complete and current governance and project management documentation, and system architecture ​documentation
    • Ensure the project management and development protocols and processes are adhered to by the Marketing Automation Center of Excellence team

    Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements:

    • Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform certifications
    • Technical competence of data driven marketing automation
    • Natural desire to achieve the impossible; when others see an insurmountable wall, you see an obstacle that can be overcome
    • Technical savvy and intellectual curiosity to rapidly master new technology
    • Comfort with cloud solutions and the desire to explore the next big thing
    • Demonstrated project management skills with a sense of commitment and urgency​

    • Creative, analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
    • Flexible, work well on multiple projects that may require restructuring due to shifting demands, unforeseen events and changing prior

    Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements:

    • 5+ experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar digital marketing automation platforms
    • Deep knowledge of digital marketing best practices and technology trends
    • Strong competence in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Journey Builder, and channel specific solutions
    • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
