    Assist in the performance and execution of the Bank’s BSA AML program through monitoring and evaluation of the organization’s adherence to regulatory requirements and expectations, company policies and procedures, and industry best practices.

     

     

    Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements:

    • Perform quality assurance testing of the Bank’s Suspicious Activity Monitoring Program, such as transaction monitoring, alert management, and SAR decision making
    • Conduct sample reviews of high risk customer types and assess quality of Enhanced Due Diligence and ongoing monitoring efforts
    • Conduct sample reviews of consumer and business accounts and assess the efficacy of the first line’s Customer Due Diligence and Know Your Customer processes
    • Maintain documentation describing scope, planning, design, execution, and results of quality assurance tests
    • Identify areas of risk and make recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of existing processes within the Bank’s first and second lines of defense
    • Maintain knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and related AML and OFAC regulations
    • Maintain policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and expectations
    • Complete special projects, as assigned

    Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements:

     

    • 2+ years of BSA/AML investigative experience, quality assurance, or audit
    • Working knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and related AML and OFAC regulations, or other directly related compliance experience
    • Strong PC technical skills and proficiency in MS Office
    • Excellent research and problem solving skills, with ability to analyze big data
    • Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal

    Preferred:

    • Experience with Actimize and/or Banker’s Toolbox software
    • CAMS, CFE, or equivalent certification
    • Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • Experience using Tableau or other Business Intelligence Reporting software, or the willingness to learn

     

    Job Functions and Work Environment:

     

    While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit for extended periods of time. Manual dexterity and coordination are required while operating standard office equipment such as computer keyboard and mouse, calculator, telephone, copiers, etc.
